Tioga Central Railroad
The Tioga Central Railroad of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania operates excursion and charter trains on a thirty-four mile railroad extending north from Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to a location about three miles south of Corning, New York.
In 2009, regular excursion trains will operate on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Memorial Day weekend through the end of October. Many additional weekday trains are also scheduled throughout the season. Excursion trains operate from the Wellsboro Junction, three miles north of Wellsboro on State Route 287, to the north end of Hammond Lake in Tioga. Reservations are encouraged for the excursion trains and can be made online or by phone at (570) 724-0990.
