There's family fun for everyone aboard the comfortable cars of the Tioga Central Railroad. Youngsters love to view the sights from our popular open observation car and have fun visiting our on-board snack bar and on-ground gift shop.
Weekend excursion rides are 24 miles long round trip to the north end of Hammond Lake and back. Duration time is 1 hour & 30 minutes. The "Canyon Club Snackbar" and Gift Shop will be open for Saturday and Sunday excursion trains. Reservations are encouraged for the excursion trains, and can be made online or by phone at (570) 724-0990. We also recommend arriving about a half hour before departure time to ensure seating choice. All Saturday and Sunday excursion train departures are from our Wellsboro Junction Passenger Station, located three miles north of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania on State Route 287.
